Give your child a global advantage! Greenville Public Schools is now enrolling students in the Chinese Immersion Program at Walnut Hills Elementary, an exciting opportunity ideal for incoming Kindergarten and 1st grade students.
In this immersive program, students learn core subjects while developing Mandarin language skills and exploring Chinese culture. Students are taught by Eastern/Western teacher teams, where native Mandarin-speaking teachers lead Chinese language, culture, and math instruction while English teachers focus on reading and writing.

• Strengthens problem-solving skills
• Encourages cultural understanding
Students don’t just learn a language—they experience the culture through activities like cooking, performing arts, and cultural exploration.
Even better, the pathway continues beyond elementary school, with opportunities in middle and high school—including the potential to earn up to 28 college credits and a Mandarin minor through a partnership with Western Michigan University.

*Log in to your parent portal at: greenville.powerschool.com/public. *You must go through your web browser, NOT the app.
*Log in to your parent account. **Call the office @ 616-754-3643 for help logging in or creating an account.
*Once logged in, you may navigate between children by clicking their picture/name in the top left corner of your screen.
*Click “Student Reports”, located along the left side toolbar.
*Click the Report Card title to view.
**Please contact your child’s teacher with any questions regarding grades.
**PE, Music, and Art grades will be present during Quarter 4 (end of the year).

Greetings Baldwin Heights Parents,
The day has arrived! Our Baldwin Heights 2nd and 3rd Grade Music Concert will be held tonight at 6:30 PM in the GHS Auditorium (students report at 6pm).
We understand that the event currently appears as “sold out.” This is due to tickets being over-reserved online. We are confident there will still be enough seating available for everyone who would like to attend, so please plan on joining us this evening.
If you do not currently have a ticket, please come to the auditorium as planned. Once ticket holders have entered, we will allow additional guests to enter and fill any open seats.
If you previously reserved tickets but will not be using all of them, please contact the GHS Auditorium Box Office so we can make those seats available to others:
