We invite your kids to walk with Baldwin Heights in the Downtown Christmas Parade on Friday, December 5th! We'll meet at 6:30pm by the First Congregational Church (behind Mancino's). Dress in your favorite holiday fashion. Since Mr. Walsh will be dressed as a Christmas Tree, we would love some kids to dress as presents!
DONATIONS NEEDED! If you are able to donate any CANDY that we can hand out during the parade, the PTO would be incredibly grateful!

Baldwin Heights is excited to observe Veterans day with our students and families this year! We will be having an all school assembly on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:55am.
We will be doing a few different things to help celebrate the Veterans in our community and our school.
Coin Drive
We will be doing a coin drive during the week leading up to the assembly. The coin drive will run from October 27th - November 5th. Silver coins and dollar bills will count for you and pennies will count against you. So you will want to put your silver coins in your grade level’s bucket and your pennies in another grade's bucket! Winning grade level gets a pizza party! The money raised will be donated to “Homes for Troops.” Homes for Troops is a charity that builds customized accessible housing for veterans injured in the line of duty. This is a national charity, but so far they have completed 8 homes for injured veterans living in Michigan!
Assembly
On the day of the assembly we would like to take a moment to honor the veterans that our students know and love. If your child has a family member that is a veteran and would like to join us on November 11th, please fill out the google form! We would love to celebrate them and their service to our country! We will be serving light refreshments starting at 9:30. Due to time constraints, we will only be recognizing Veterans who are able to attend the assembly. You must fill out the Google Form by Monday, November 3rd. The form can be accessed with the following link/web address: https://bit.ly/BHveteransday
Thank you!
