The Greenville Public Schools Board of Education is excited to announce the selection of its next Superintendent of Schools to replace Linda Van Houten. The replacement process began in July 2022. After multiple interviews, the Board of Education is pleased to enter into contract negotiations with Wayne Roedel to lead the Greenville Public Schools. Mr. Roedel is currently the Superintendent of Fowlerville Community Schools serving in that role since 2013. Prior, he served as Assistant Superintendent for one year and High School Principal for eight years, also with Fowlerville. The Board of Education continues to sincerely thank Linda Van Houten for her dedicated years of service to the Greenville Public Schools. GPS Superintendent Search Update - The Greenville Public Schools Board of Education moved one step closer to hiring a new superintendent last night (Wednesday, August 31) by deciding to invite two candidates back for a second interview. Our Jacket Spirit shined bright Thursday night at the Greenville vs. Allendale varsity football game. GPS transported over 200 high school students, band members, and cheerleaders to Allendale to support our team. Go Jackets! 💜💛

Happy National Dog Day! 🐕 Did you know GPS has two comfort dogs, sponsored by the Education Foundation of Greenville? Lola is a 4 year old Golden Retriever who came to us in April of 2021. Lola loves walks, treats, and kids! Cinder is a 3 year old English Black Lab. She enjoys going on adventures to Lansing and St. Joe with her humans and loves to swim!
