Greenville Public Schools received an incredibly generous donation of a Phillips AED (Automated External Defibrillator) from Kevin McGraw, founder of SERC (School Emergency Response Coalition). The setup donated to us includes the AED with a travel case, first aid response kit, additional AED pads, and a spare battery. This is over $2,000 worth of equipment to help our school community safe.

There will a Board of Education Meeting on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 7:00pm at the Central Services Facility (1414 Chase Street, Greenville). For more Board of Education information, please visit https://www.gpsjackets.org/page/board-of-education

Greetings Greenville Public Schools Family!
It's that special time of year where GPS staff, parents, and students tempt fate and plunge into the icy waters of a frozen lake to benefit the Special Olympics. The Polar Plunge will again be close to home at Turk Lake and take place on Saturday, February 4th. The Special Olympics do some pretty amazing things for some of our very own students right here in Greenville. It's a very worthwhile organization and this event is one of their biggest fundraisers.
If any of you are brave enough to join the other crazy people, it's really not too bad....just a bit of a shock to the system! It's for a great cause. If you'd like to join the Frozen Jackets, please email Mr. Walsh (Principal of Baldwin Heights Elementary and Captain of the Frozen Jackets) at mike.walsh@gpsjackets.org.
If you'd rather support the Frozen Jackets by donating some much needed funds, please donate ONLINE by going to this website: https://give.classy.org/frozenwalsh23. Click on the "Donate" button and follow the directions.
Thanks for your support!
