This early release will allow our buses to safely bring students home and ensure they can return in time for the elementary schools’ scheduled dismissal. Elementary will dismiss at their normal time. The decision was made with student safety as our top priority.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

🎉January is School Board Recognition Month! 🎉

Greenville Public Schools proudly thanks our Board of Education members—past, present, and future—for their dedication to our staff, students, and community. Join us in recognizing these servant leaders who tirelessly prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s success: Michelle Blaszczynski (1/2025), Brian Gardner (1/2023), Michael Huff (9/2022), Richelle Lentz (11/2022), Charlie Mahar (1/2019), Kire Wierda (11/2016), and Maureen Wolverton (1/2023).

Let’s show our gratitude and celebrate the difference they make every day! 🙌
