Fitness Palooza fun! For every $50 a student collected, they received a ticket to slime a staff member. Even our Superintendent, Mr. Roedel, got slimed!

📍Route: Parade heads NORTH on Hillcrest Street from Yellow Jacket Drive to Blackburn Street. Bring your family, wear your purple & gold, and show your JACKET PRIDE by lining Hillcrest Street to cheer on our parade participants! 💜💛
STREET CLOSURES: Hillcrest & Blackburn Streets will be closed from approximately 5:15-6 pm, and Yellow Jacket Drive will be closed from approximately 4:30-6 pm. Be sure to come early (or late) to avoid the street closures. Go Jackets!

Attention Parents: GPS Odyssey of the Mind will hold an informational session on Thursday, September 18 from 6:00-7:30 in the GMS Media Center. Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem solving competition for students in grades K-12. Teams are comprised of 5-7 OMers per team and work together to come up with a solution to a unique problem. Teams from Greenville have traveled to both State and World Finals for the past 4 consecutive years to compete. If your child is interested in this awesome opportunity, please plan to attend this information session! GMS is excited to participate in their first annual Fitness Palooza on Wednesday, Sept. 24! Fitness Palooza is a day planned with many opportunities for activity including walking, dancing, kickball, basketball, football, and yard games. The students will rotate with their WIN classes through stations to have active fun and learning while building relationships to foster a positive school experience. All donations will be used to support school enrichment activities such as field trips, half day celebrations, guest speakers, and more.
