Please congratulate Greenville High School seniors Kailey Ingraham, Karlee Thompson, and Hudson Parker on qualifying for DECA Internationals for certification of the Jacket Depot School Based Enterprise! They will compete with their project in Orlando, Florida in late April.
Tenth-grade students continue building their resumes with Mrs. Butler. They also learn about the amazing opportunities to dual enroll or attend Montcalm Community College's Early College program.
Mrs. Schroeder and Mr. Chandler met with seniors to share the new application process for scholarships. There are amazing opportunities for many post-secondary options!
Mrs. Fisher's Workplace Communication Class welcomed a guest speaker from Michigan Works to hear about valuable soft skills needed in the workplace.

Greetings Greenville Public Schools Family! It's that special time of year where GPS staff, parents, and students tempt fate and plunge into the icy waters of a frozen lake to benefit the Special Olympics. The Polar Plunge will again be close to home at Turk Lake and take place on Saturday, February 4th. The Special Olympics do some pretty amazing things for some of our very own students right here in Greenville. It's a very worthwhile organization and this event is one of their biggest fundraisers. If any of you are brave enough to join the other crazy people, it's really not too bad....just a bit of a shock to the system! It's for a great cause. REMINDER ... Monday (12/19) & Tuesday (12/20) are HALF DAYS for GMS & GHS students. GMS releases at 10:30am & GHS releases at 10:35am. These two days are normal full days for all elementary students!
GPS would like to take a moment to thank Board Secretary Mr. Ron Billmeier (19+ years) and Board Trustee Dr. Rocky Hansen (12+ years) for serving on the GPS Board of Education. They will be missed tremendously, but we wish them the best of luck on their next endeavors. We would also like to thank our 2022 Board of Education Student Representative Hudson Parker for his commitment to serve the student body monthly at the Board of Education meetings . We wish him the best of luck as he finishes out his senior year at GHS and takes on his next adventures. Their terms officially end December 31, 2022. Photos were taken during their last regular meeting on December 12th.
