❓Didn’t the 2017 bond take care of our facility needs? The 2017 bond, supported by our community, funded many critical upgrades and safety improvements across all GPS schools—enhancing learning spaces and school security.
However, some projects that couldn’t be included in the 2017 bond now need urgent attention as our buildings continue to age.

💡If the GPS Sinking Fund passes on May 6, there will be no increase to your current tax rate.
Here’s what you need to know:
• Our current debt millage rate is 4.7 mills
• It’s scheduled to drop to 3.2 mills this summer
• This proposal asks for 1.5 mills to maintain the 4.7 mills rate
What this means for you & GPS:
✅ No tax rate increase
✅ Every dollar goes directly to student support—no interest costs
✅ Sustains safe, well-equipped, and financially stable schools
