Cedar Crest Families-
We will be holding a meeting on October 23rd at 5:00 pm in the Cedar Crest Media Center for all parents who are interested in being a part of creating and serving on a Cedar Crest PTO. At this meeting, a collective mission and vision will be created, bi-laws will be drafted and a date and process will be set to hold elections. If you are unable to commit to a lead role on the PTO, no worries at all, there will be a lot of opportunity as we move forward to volunteer and be engaged with the PTO. We look forward to working with you on this!
Calling all problem solvers! Come and learn what Odyssey of the Mind has in store for you on October 11 at GMS from 6-7pm! Parents and students will have an opportunity to learn and answer questions about OM as well as view this year's problems for competition!
Would you like to learn more about Internet Safety for your family? This FREE community training will be held on Monday, October 16, starting at 5:30pm at the Montcalm Area Career Center (1550 W Sidney Rd, Sidney). Register by emailing Sue Kearney at skearney@maisd.com before 10/12 to reserve dinner and a gas card! The facilitator is Trooper Steve Schutter from the Michigan State Police and the event is sponsored by the We Care for Kids Council of Montcalm County.

The Elmer Russell School Bell Award is awarded annually to a citizen or organization AND a GPS employee who has made significant contributions to enhance Greenville Public Schools. GPS would like to thank our 2022 Elmer Russell School Bell Award winners for joining us in this year's Danish Festival Dansk Parade on Saturday (8/19). Parade photo includes Robin Walter, Vice President/School Liasion for the Flat River Historial Society & Museum, and Don Bryant, a recently retired maintenance from Greenville Public Schools. A special THANK YOU to Tinney Automotive for providing a vehicle and a driver for our award recipients to participate in the parade. GPS is grateful for all individuals and organizations that continue to support our staff and students.

Greenville Public Schools will be hosting a District-Wide Medication Drop Off on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the Greenville High School - Lobby (111 N. Hillcrest Street) from 11:00am-2:00pm and 3:00-5:30pm. This medication drop-off is for any prescribed daily or as-needed medication to be utilized at any GPS school. All medicines dropped off must have a Permission & Request for Administration of Medication form, SIGNED by the parent AND physician, so that the medication can be administered to the student during school hours. https://www.gpsjackets.org/page/school-nurse-services
