How would the bond proposal impact students? -Indoor air quality would be improved through mechanical system upgrades to HVAC systems, including replacement of aging systems. Air conditioning would be added to Elementary School learning spaces, where currently lacking. -Upgrading educational technology for students and staff would increase access to innovative learning opportunities with updated equipment and infrastructure. -Project-based learning initiatives at the elementary schools would be supported through dedicated spaces as newly created STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) classrooms, allowing for a new “special” class to be added for all students. -Career Technical Education initiative would expand access, and add equipment to further hands-on learning and skills-based training for post-education work environments. Research shows that high-quality early childhood education programs have a profound impact on the future outcomes of students.
