Wellness Committee

Advisory and Program Planning Capacity

The Greenville Public Schools Wellness Committee was formed to address policy and curricular decisions in our schools that impact the health and wellness of students and staff.  The team continues to function in an advisory and program planning capacity.

Changes in our physical education curriculum, food and nutrition services, vending, and concessions are due in large part to the work of this team in cooperation with instructional and service departments and a variety of organizations.

The Wellness Committee is comprised of teachers, administrators, local health care practitioners, students, and parents. The Greenville community is encouraged to become involved. Every year new members are chosen to be a part of this team. If you are interested in becoming a part of the Wellness Committee, please contact Dan Kuk, Director of Food and Nutrition.
