Middle School Choir

General Course Information

Vocal Music at Greenville Middle School is a place where students can come to continue their musical education in grades 6, 7, and 8.

In the Middle School, we focus on developing the singing talents of our up and coming stars!  In vocal music, we focus on developing the total musician, rather than just the singing voice. Singing is a challenging discipline that requires understanding of the body, the voice, musical theory, and performance.

By the time a student leaves the middle school vocal music program, they will have had experience in performing, creating, and reading music.  By acheiving the goals of the vocal music program, students gain self-confidence, meet friends, learn a life-long skill and are ready to continue on to the great opportunities available at the Greenville High School Vocal Music Program.
