Local Scholarships

Local Scholarships will be available in the Spring of 2022.

CollegeBoard Opportunity Scholarships

CollegeBoard has created a fund with millions of dollars to assist students with scholarship money over the coming years. They truly are easy to do because it's all things you need to do anyways, such as college exploration, applying to college, and completing your FAFSA. Click here to learn more about these scholarships & how to apply. Mr. Kaastra can help you if needed!

Juniors:

Junior year is a great time to check out colleges and look at scholarship information. Although people often tell juniors to apply for scholarships, only seniors can actually apply for scholarships for freshman year in college.

You can, however, start applying January 2022 for the College Board Opportunity Scholarships! The first step is to build a college list. This is something you should be starting to think about anyway, so might as well have the chance to earn scholarships too! Start by clicking here and then clicking "search for colleges" to find at least 6 schools that will be a good possible fit for you. That's all you have to do to be considered for one of the $500 scholarships! (I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but every little bit helps. Trust me.) They have larger ones too as the year goes on.

If you want to learn more about the CB Opportunity Scholarships, click here. This is an ongoing thing that you will add to from now until you graduate next year! :)
