Important Update - July 31, 2020

Due to some recent state and local developments, Greenville Public Schools has decided to delay our in-person instruction by two weeks for the 2020-2021 school year.  The first day of school remains Wednesday, August 19, 2020.  Distance learning will be used for the first two weeks of school and our first day of in-person instruction will be Wednesday, September 2 (pending any changes from the state and/or local health department).

GPS Online Learning

Greenville Public Schools is looking forward to in-person education to every extent possible in the fall.  As another option for students and families, GPS has expanded online education for K-12th grades. CLICK HERE for more information.

If you do have a student enrolled at GPS, please be sure your contact information is accurate for your student in ParentVue.  You will receive a text message on the wireless cell phone number which the District has on your file in ParentVue, requesting that you "opt-in" to receive important information from the district via our SMS text messaging service.  

If you do not have a currently enrolled GPS student, but would like to receive DISTRICT text alerts (inclement weather delays/cancellations, safety and security alerts and other important information), please click here to enter your information. Please note this will not immediately enroll you into our new system. 

Once you receive the opt-in alert, reply back with Y or YES to officially enroll. You will receive a confirmation text once the full process has completed. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency will vary.
