Class of 2021- Year End Events

Seniors and Senior Parents, please read! Important information!

*All listed activities are subject to change depending on the statewide gathering restrictions at the time. Most of these activities take place in a short window of time, please be mindful of social distancing, monitor for symptoms, and follow recommended safety measures so that the Class of 2021 can participate in all of these exciting events as planned. 

Powderpuff

  • April 25th at 6 pm for any junior or senior wanting to participate.
  • Players, Coaches, Cheer Leaders & Cheer Coaches needed
  • $25 for each participant, $5 per spectator.
  • Registration can be found "@Senior Mystery Trip ~ Class of 2021” on Facebook

Prom  

  • Saturday, May 8th
  • At Legacy Field from 8 pm-11 pm
  • 300 people total. Tickets will be available to seniors starting on April 19th, and in the event that there are extra tickets, they will become available to juniors the following week.
  • Seniors have the opportunity to buy two tickets for other GHS seniors or GHS juniors ONLY (the same thing will apply for juniors the following week)
  • This event will not be opened to outside guests (including former graduates)
  • This event will include a DJ, balloons, decorations, fire pit, dance floor, tent, tables/chairs, and a photographer.

Senior Exams

  • May 10th (blocks 1-3)
  • May 11th (blocks 4-6)
  • May 12th (if needed)

 Honors Week 

  • Scholarship Day
    • May 12th at 12:30 pm in the auditorium
    • Seniors and presenters only
    • This event will be live-streamed
  • Jacket Pride Day 
    • May 13th at 9:20 am on Legacy Field
    • Seniors will be allowed two tickets for this event (Information coming soon)
    • This event will be live-streamed
    • Swing Out/Graduation practice will follow the conclusion of this event for all seniors
  •  Swing Out 
    • May 14th at 8:40 am on Legacy Field
    • Seniors, presenters, and parents (2 tickets) only (Information coming soon)
    • This event will be live-streamed

Graduation 

  • May 20th
  • Seniors will be allowed two tickets to this event (Information coming soon)
  • This event will be live-streamed

 Senior Video

  • Seniors - please continue to check your email from Mr. Wilson regarding further information on this. Wave videos have begun this week (4/4)

Senior Tea (Girls only)

  • May 5th
  • Organized by The City Church of Greenville
  • More information will be available at a later date

Senior Tribute Banner (Hung along the truck route)

  • Order through the Senior Mystery Trip Facebook group or the Daily News
  • $35 each and seniors will get to keep 
  • The deadline is Monday, April 26th at 11 am

Clap Out

  • May 13th, after Swingout practice (12:30pm-1:30pm)
  • Signup for your Clap Out bus to Baldwin Heights, Lincoln Heights, Walnut Hills, Cedar Crest or St. Charles with Mrs. VanHoose in the office.
