Greenville Public Schools is currently closed due to Governor Whitmer's the Stay Home, Stay Safe order.

2020-2021 Developmental Kindergarten / Kindergarten Registration

What is Developmental Kindergarten & What Program Is Best For Your Child?

For those registering after March 19th, please call one of the elementary school buildings to schedule a DK/K screening. Students must be five years old by September 1 to enroll in DK/K. If your student turns five after September 1st, please contact Cedar Crest for preschool options.  

To Register your child, just follow these steps:

Step 2: Bring the following required documentation to your scheduled appointment:


  1. Proof of Residency - drivers license, utility  bill, lease/rental agreement, property deed, etc. 
  2. Original Birth Certificate - (The Michigan Missing Children's Act (MCL 380.1135) requires that you provide a certified copy of your child's birth certificate when you are enrolling in school. If unable to provide a birth certificate within 30 days, Greenville Public Schools MUST notify local law enforcement.
  3. Immunization Records
  4. Hearing/Vision Screening Results
  5. Parent Questionnaire - If unable to print, please pick up packet from any elementary school.
  6. 2020 Kindergarten Screening Parent Survey
  7. Custody Paperwork (if applicable) 

Step 3: Attend your scheduled appointment with your student for the DK/K screening.
