From Variety Shows to the Yellow Jacket Challenge, each year the Education Foundation of Greenville (EFG) holds fundraisers to supports its mission of preparing our students for life and the 21st century workplace. We are proud of the community support at each of these events.

Don’t Stop the Music – OUR3 Variety Show
Since 2012, Greenville Public Schools music educators have created a concert that involves more than 120 local talent, alumni, school staff, and students with the sole purpose to raise funds for the EFG’s Performing Arts OUR3 Endowment Fund. Each year the theme focuses on different styles of music and genres with a variety of acts. Participants understand the benefits of the performing arts for all students and this is a way for them to give back to a cause they so strongly believe in.
This past year, the Variety Show and Collage Concert raised over $5,000.
Celebrate Our Future Dinner
The Fall Festival Dinner & Fundraiser "Celebrate Our Future” started nine years ago. To date this fundraiser dinner has raised over $61,000. This fun evening features a wonderful gourmet meal along with fundraising activities that include auctions and a reverse raffle.

Grand Rapids Symphony Holiday Pops Concert
For seventeen consecutive years, the Grand Rapids Symphony has performed their Holiday Pops Concert at the GHS Performing Arts Center in December. This sold out event is sponsored by Stafford Media Solutions and the Stafford family and has raised over $173,000 for the EFG.
This is a great way to celebrate the holiday season with your family!

The EFG is very proud to sponsor the annual Greenville Area Melodrama that benefits the OUR3 Endowment campaign . This two-night event features GPS staff, community members and friends in a musical and comedic production that you won’t want to miss!
The Melodrama has helped raise $4,600 for the OUR3 Endowment campaign.

Yellow Jacket Challenge
UPDATE: YELLOW JACKET CHALLENGE IS CANCELLED
The Yellow Jacket Challenge scheduled for Sunday, April 15, has been cancelled. The safety of our runners and walkers is of utmost importance and must be first priority. Organizing this event is large undertaking and, therefore, we will not be able to reschedule. We will not issue refunds but paid participants and our school running clubs will still be able to get their shirts and race bags. There will be a plan for distribution announced next week. Please know that we are grateful for your continued support of the Education Foundation of Greenville and the wellness grants that are made possible through the Yellow Jacket Challenge. We are 11 years running and look forward to April, 2019.
Celebrating its tenth year now, the Yellow Jacket Challenge (YJC) is a family-friendly event that features a 5K run, one-mile walk and the Yellow Jacket Fun Run. A total of 367 runners and more than 110 walkers/fun runners took part in last year’s event. Event proceeds allowed the EFG to award more than $16,000 this past year in wellness grants.
